I am unable to obtain W-2 forms from IRS. What can I do?

WE are retired and receive social security benefits. IRS is not providing W-2s.

W-2's come from your employer, not the IRS.

Social Security SSA-1099 come from the Social Security Administration.

You don't get a W-2 for Social Security benefits. Social Security benefits are reported on Form SSA-1099, and it comes from the Social Security Administration, not from the IRS. If you did not get your SSA-1099 go to the link below, or call the Social Security Administration at 800-772-1213.
