I am seeing people are getting their taxes accepted in other states, and it's before the 12th. Is there any reason for that?

It's usual for the IRS to take samples to test their systems before opening up totally. As the IRS processes, that opens for any state systems to work as well. Feb 12 is still the official day.

For example, my sister's return was accepted today, we live in the same house hold, mine is still pending, is the IRS looking at my return right now or are they waiting until tomorrow and accepting the same day, assuming everything is correct

Don't be alarmed. The IRS goes through a testing period before they open up on the official day, tomorrow February 12th. It's normal for some returns to go through like your sister's.
The processing could be slightly delayed since the opening day is much later than normal. Your return will get processed within the next couple of days if all goes as usual.
