Be sure you are not still working on your 2018 return.

If employers from 2018 are listed in your 2019 account, you can click "wages & Income" scroll down to where they are listed and click Delete (the trash can)

I corrected my tax return and my new amount was lower but it shows that I refiled for the same old amount even though I went back and removed my children as dependents
