How do I fix my state return? says: Payer ID must end with'WTH', go back to federal W-2 or 1099 to update. I'm going in loops.

Go back to the topic where the error is, either "Job (W2) or a form 1099 entry.  In the state ID number box delete and backspace several times to be sure no stray spaces exist.  Then re-enter the code using all lower case ending in "wth" as noted.
