A dependents earned income from wages reported on a W-2 are not entered on your tax return.

You do not include a dependents W-2 on your tax return.  

• They will have their own tax return.
• If they made less than $14,600 (The standard Deduction) they don't have to file.
• However, if they had income tax withheld, it can only be recovered by filling a return.

Be sure that they indicate in the MY Info interview that someone else can claim them as a dependent.
