High School Reunion Tickets - no 1099K

I received ticket sales for our HS reunion through PayPal.  The amount did not require a 1099K.

How do I report the ticket sales and the offsetting expenses in TurboTax?  Hobby income doesn't work because you can't deduct expenses. Thanks.

If I understand correctly you were just a conduit for ticket sales. Since you had no income from the activity and nothing was reported to the IRS, you don’t have to do anything on your tax return.

Can you clarify what kind of income this is?  Was it a re-sale?

High School Reunion Tickets - no 1099K

As part of the reunion committee, I set up my personal PayPal account so we could sell tickets.  The total sales was 5400. The expenses were equal to the sales, so there is no net income.  Since the sales did not meet the threshold, I did not receive a 1099K.  I assume even though there is 0 income, that I need to report the income & expense on my tax return. I don't know what form to use to report this. I don't think it meets the test as a business since it isn't done regularly. It also isn't a hobby. Any suggestions? Thanks!
