Entering 1099-MISC for research study income indicates "Sole Proprietorship"

Thank you. I realized I could just delete the Schedule C it created for me and then the "Sole Proprietorship" line went away from my 2022 summary. I guess if you enter something, it's not enough to just "edit" - you have to completely back out and delete any forms that were created! Thank you again!

If you indicate that the Form 1099-MISC represents income from self-employment, the from becomes linked to the business and Schedule C is automatically generated.  Simply deleting the Schedule C doesn't work because the link is still present, causing the Schedule C to be regenerated.  Deleting the Form 1099-MISC eliminates the link.
