No state ID was entered, blank for box 15. What should I do?

If there are Colorado state income taxes withheld in box 17 and your employer did not enter their state ID number you will have to contact the employer to get the number or get a corrected W-2.

If there are no Colorado state income taxes withheld in box 17 then leave boxes 15, 16 and 17 blank (empty)

Box 15, Employer's State ID, what do I enter if it's blank? State of Texas. Turbo Tax clearly says to leave blank f blank, but then keeps telling me there is an issue.
