Editing personal information

Turbotax will not let me edit that I am alive and not deceased.  How do I fix this issue.  New installation, just registered but not being able to make myself alive is bad programming.  Tried editing twice, would not take the change.

I am not sure anyone here can assist you with a programming error (if indeed that is the case). 

You can start your return from scratch, of course, but I would recommend contacting Support (link below), during regular business hours, before doing starting over.
