When I get down to the point of e-filing, the Audit Defense automatically comes up as part of the process when I clicked earlier that I didn't want that option but I can't e-file unless I accept this. I don't want it. How do I proceed without paying $45 for Audit Defense that I don't want?

Please follow the instructions below:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. Select File in the left-hand menu to view the final steps before filing.
3. Select Revisit next to Step 1-You've chosen to deduct your TurboTax fees from your federal return.
4. Scroll down to the Premium Services Benefits section and select Remove.
5. Select Remove and Pay With Card.
6. Select View Payment Options.
7. On the How would you like to pay for TurboTax screen select Pay Now. (Pay with Federal Refund is only available with the Premium Services bundle.)

By removing Premium Services, you cancel your 1-year subscription to Audit Defense, Full Identity Restoration, Identity Theft Monitoring, Identity Loss Insurance, and you will no longer have access to Priority Care. These benefits can't be purchased separately.
