Do I have to mail my forms or do you guys automatically do it

Printed or Ready to Mail means you have to print out your return and mail it to the IRS yourself. So it has not been filed yet. Turbo Tax will always say Ready to Mail. They don't know if or when you actually mailed it. And the IRS doesn't tell Turbo Tax when they get a mailed return. 

You can try to switch to efile.   Click on Add a State to let you back into your retun.

If you are choosing to file by mail, you have to print it, sign it and mail it yourself.  TurboTax does not mail it for you.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.

When you mail your tax return, wait about 4 weeks and then check the IRS site:
