Discontinuation of It's Deductible...Again?

I just received another message (like last year) regarding the discontinuation of It's Deductible.  It's very disappointing to say the least.  It's one of the main reasons I've stayed a loyal TT customer for over a decade.  It's an incredibly valuable tool for an individual like myself and it saves time.  Plus, to be doing it in October, 10 months in to the tax year?  Please reconsider.  It differentiates you from others in a positive manner.  Thanks.

Discontinuation of It's Deductible...Again?

I agree!  I have been a customer for at least 20 years.  Having to go back to manually tracking and valuing items is stupid in this day and age. I do taxes for my 3 adult children as well so this will take me hours and hours!  I will be exploring other tax preparation options since TurboTax keeps devaluing what they offer but keep raising their prices.

Once again, Intuit is giving me a reason to look for alternatives to TurboTax...

I agree - Again?!***

It's one of the things that distinguishes TT from other tax software.

Not releasing TT for 2025 that will not run on Windows 10 is also a bad idea.

If I had not been forced to go to windows 11 by an equipment failure, and problems with other software not running on windows 10, I would probably leave TT.

I agree Intuit should continue offering this tool to its TurboTax users, or incorporate the full feature set into ALL the versions of TurboTax.

At BARE MINIMUM please extend the tool thru the end of the 2025 tax season.

What's the rush to end it, please explain Intuit.

Wait, what?  No Windows 10 support for TurboTax desktop, WTF?  Just because Microsoft is no longer supporting Windows 10 doesn't mean you need to stop.  Is Intuit owned by Microsoft now? Or did they just pay Intuit off to force us to upgrade?  This is the second FU I've seen from Intuit today.  As a customer of at least 20 years I have to say I no longer feel important to this company.

I couldn't agree with you more!  I've been using It's Deductible for years and I've told so many people about it.  I'll be lost without it.  I sure wish they'd reconsider.

They tried once to end it, but that backfired.  Now they send out an email with no ability to reply or complain.  It’s deductible was the only thing keeping me coming back, so I’m not coming back.

Please oh please do not discontinue this product!    Saves me hours of work every year.    I will pay, we will all pay.   There is not a tool out there even close to as good and as easy to use as this!

Agreed.  This is the one feature that kept me using Intuit's expensive alternative for tax preparation.  Without it -- and with a mid-year cancelation, which is silly -- I'll move on to a less expensive service.

I, along with many others will be switching to H&R Block, there isn't a reason to stay with TurboTax

I, along with many of my friends and family after today’s email, with be switching to H&R Block software that handles charitable docnations primarily through its Deduction Pro tool, included in its Deluxe, premium, and Self-Employed products.  The software helps you value  non-cash donations and tracks all your contributions.  Goodbye turbo unless you change your mind and keep “It’s Deductible”!

Not again.  What is the reason Intuit?  I have used this yearly and it is an important tool and a reason to continue using TurboTax due to the integration.  Please find a way to continue to offer and support it and keep it rolling.  As others, will be looking to discontinue and move to H&R Block for tracking charitables in the future.

Discontinuation of It's Deductible...Again?

This is truly getting crazy.  So may turbo tax users use its deductible.  If you are going to discontinue, please integrate donation support within the software.  We pay for using deductions so support that.  Microsoft is only discontinuing support for Windows 10.  WE should still be able to install software on that platform.  You will lose many users if you do not support that because many turbo tax users will not be upgrading to Windows 11.
