How can I determine amount I would pay in fiduiary taxes for Federal and Virginia State. Received approx 180,000 the form says 15% and (approx don't have form in front of me) 47,000 Help please. Thanks in advance

No it is seperate.  The answer to that post made sense.

In that case, can you clarify what you mean by "fiduciary taxes" and post the number or type of form you received? Does it involve the receipt of a 1099-R? 

 

Fiduciaries of an estate or trust typically file federal form 1041.

The form is a 1041  Line 5 is 47,560.00 / Line 12 has A & J with 21 and 29 / Line 14 has H -47,571

another 1041 form showing   Line 5 as 3,697  / Line 14 as H -2,553

Turbo Tax has calculated the taxes as federal being roughly 11,500 and state as 3,164

This seemed really high.... Is it?

Actually looks like fed is 8350 and state 3100
