Delete the 1099-G.

A USDA grant is not subject to self employment tax because it's not earned income. All profits from a schedule F are subject to 15.3% SE tax. A grant is entered under "Other Common Income".

To Delete a Form

Open your return in TurboTax. 

• In the left side bar, select Tax Tools> Tools.
• In the pop-up window Tool Center, choose Delete a form.
• Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet and follow the onscreen instructions
