If you enter an eligible dependent and you are eligible for the Child Tax Credit it will be included on your tax return.

It is automatic after you enter your information and tax data in the TurboTax program

Yes.  TurboTax is required to calculate all tax credits the taxpayer is eligible to claim on their tax return.
