Changing filing status

Be advised you should verify your filing status. You can change your filing status in your My Info section. Use the steps below to make the changes. TurboTax will help you select the correct filing status as you progress through the interview. 

In TurboTax Online;

1. Go to "My Info" in the left hand menu

2. Select "Edit" next to marital status

3. Select the marital status that applies to you

4  Answer questions that follow
