Can I include a 2018 W2 with 2019?

Unfortunately, you cannot file a W-2 from 2018 with your 2019 income tax return.  You must file the 2018 W-2 on the 2018 return.  If your 2018 return was already accepted, you must file an amended 2018 income tax return.

Keep in mind: You have 3 years from the date you filed your return (or 2 years after you paid the tax due, whichever is later) to file an amended return, which means you don't have to get it done by the April 15 filing deadline.
