Do you have a TurboTax Online account?

We'll help you get started or pick up where you left off.

Are there any discounts still available? I just need to print my returns and feel like $164.98 is a lot. Anything helps. Thanks.

Why are you spending $164.98?  For what?  What year are you trying to print?  You are posting from Self-Employed which costs $119.99, and the state is another $44.99--so that is what it would cost if you are using Self-Employed to prepare a 2018 return IF you are an independent contractor.  What are you doing?

Sorry, no discounts available this late in the tax season.

Your message indicates that you are using the TurboTax online Self-Employed edition which is the most expensive of the online editions (other than the Live editions).  If you are reporting self-employment income and expenses for the 2018 tax return then the Self-Employed edition is required at a price of $119.99.  If you added a state tax return that is an additional $44.99 for a total of $164.98.

To print the 2018 tax return the TurboTax account fees have to be paid before the return can be printed.

If you do not want the state tax return it can be deleted - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/using-turbotax/help/how-do-i-delete-my-state-return-in-turbotax-on...

If you do not require the Self-Employed edition you can clear the tax return and start over.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2018 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
Note - If you have entered a Form 1099-MISC with income shown in box 7 of the form, this would indicate to the program that you are self-employed, thereby requiring the use of the Self-Employed edition to report the income and expenses for your self-employment.
