If you chose to electronically file your return then you should check to see if your returns show accepted as the status. If both returns show the accepted status, then you have finished filing. However, if your returns show the pending status then you have not filed until this status is updated to accepted. Please follow the directions below to check your electronic filing status.

Sign in to TurboTax to check your current status. You'll find it in Tax Home after sign in.

If you've got an Alexa device, you can enable it to check for you.

If you used TurboTax CD/Download you can check your e-file status by opening the File menu and selecting Check E-filing status or by opening your return, selecting the File tab, and selecting the Check E-file Status header.

If you have chosen to mail your returns then you will need to follow the directions in this TurboTax FAQ to print and mail your returns. If you are using TurboTax for Windows then follow the directions in this link instead.
