property taxes

I have entered real property taxes in the rental income section....(25% of total taxes on our home) as instructed by turbo tax), but when I go to personal expenses for the possibility of itemized deductions, what amount do I claim?

property taxes

When you rent part of your home, you divide mortgage interest and property taxes between the rental use and the personal use of your home.

If you have entered 25% of total property taxes in the rental section, then you enter 75% of the same total as Property Taxes in the personal section under Deductions & Credits.
