Problem with the Federal ID# form2019W-2G

The Federal ID# may be called the Employers Identification Number EIN on your Form W-2G.

The format is XX-XXXXXXX.  When you enter the number do not enter the "-" just enter the numbers.

I enter the number for the federal identification number then I can't enter the telephone number.

I get a message. (type in a employer identification number) If i try and bypass  it sends me right back to the telephone box. with same message.

Delete the Federal Id number and hit the delete and backspace key a few times to make sure all stray spaces are out.  Re-enter the numbers.  Do the same in the phone number box.  You can also try signing out of TurboTax and clearing your browser/cache.
