Prior Year Passive Activity Loss for a Form K-1 - How to enter

Hello,

I'm trying to enter the prior year passive activity loss for a K-1.  I cannot find anywhere to enter this information in the step-by-step view.  When in the Forms view, it will not let me override the prior year loss box.  How and where can I enter this information?

I'm using the 2025 TT Home and Business version.

Thank you in advance.

Prior Year Passive Activity Loss for a Form K-1 - How to enter

You can enter your prior year passive losses for Schedule K-1 using the step-by-step interview:

Go to Personal >> Business Income >> Schedule K-1 and choose the type of K-1 you need to work on. Click "Edit" beside the actual K-1 you need to review.

Follow the interview until you see a question like "I have passive activity losses carried over from last year." Check the box and TurboTax will ask you for the carryover amount later in the interview.

If you're working in Forms Mode, open the K-1 Partner (or S-Corp) worksheet and scroll down below the last numbered line to Section A - Passive Activity Adjustments... Carryovers from last year are entered on the appropriate line in Column (c). Enter numbers only in boxes highlighted in yellow.
