I am using Turbo Tax Premier online and was shown a charge of $119 (plus $59 with state) at check-out. The price shown for Turbo Tax Premier at this website (https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/online/premier.jsp) is $89. Why is there a discrepancy?

There are two online editions with similar names.
One is the Premier edition at $89
The other is the Premium edition at $119. I suspect you used and were billed for the Premium edition.
Thanks for the reply. Yes, I looked within my account and I am indeed using the Premium version. Is there any way I can switch to the Premier version? I just needed something that can handle investment taxes (1099-b etc), and it looks like the Premier version can do that.

If you have not paid for the online edition you are using, have not filed your tax return or registered the Free edition, then you can clear your return and start over with a lower priced edition. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen while working on the 2022 online tax return. Click on Clear & Start Over.
