Since they have ssn recently. If this is the first time you use both ssn, put 0- zero on their agi of last year. It should work

It's not a PIN issue, it's an identity mis-match issue.

Use the SSN only. You will have to print and mail the returns. You also need to send a letter to the IRS to let them know about the changeover. (Separately, not with the tax return).
