On Line 4, it says $20,440 for FPL for 2 people when that amount was from 2024. It should be $21,150 for 2025. Huge ramifications for me as that puts me at 401% of FPL.
Called in and she was slow to understand. These 2025 levels have been out since fall of 2024 so this should NOT have happened.

The IRS Instructions for Form 8962 for 2025 show the FPL for a family of two as $20,440 (page 8). It also says that FPL above 400% can still receive a Premium Tax Credit (bottom of first page).
However, I did find an IRS Fact Sheet on Form 8962 that states "...For example, the tax credit for 2025 is based on the 2024 FPL" so the new 2025 amounts are not effective until 2026 returns are filed.
I'm having the same issue, and agree, these IRS FPLs have been out for over a year. And we can't override the # TT populates in Form 8962 - Line 4, so we're at the mercy of TT to fix this significant bug which will cause many of their customers to pay a lot more in taxes - and many people may not even catch this issue. I called TT Support on 12/22/25 and she took a screen shot of the issue from my PC to open an incident, but it's 6 weeks later and still not fixed. I've called several times and wasted several hours, to get an update and usually ultimately get disconnected from their phone system.
The FPL used on Form 8962 for the Premium Tax Credit calculations is the 2024 amount. The 2025 increase doesn't take effect until the 2026 tax year.
