Premier vs Deluxe

I've already purchased TT Premier for the 2024 tax year.  This is the version I've always used to do mine and several other family member's returns, mainly because a couple include rental activity.  This year I'm looking at doing 7 returns.  I know I can only e-file 5 returns using a single version of the program.  Having the new ones will require that I purchase another version in order to e-file.  I've already started 2 returns using the premier version.  These 2 are in a different state than all the rest, so it would make sense to parse these out to the second version that I'll need to purchase.  I'm thinking I could go with Deluxe rather than Premier on these since neither one has any rental activity.  However, one of them does require Sch's C and SE.

This leaves me with 2 questions.  First, will the Deluxe version handle Sch's C and SE?  (I've read conflicting answers to this question.)  And second, having started both of these returns in Premier, will I be able to finish them in a new Deluxe version without re-entering everything?

Premier vs Deluxe

Please be aware, even purchasing another version of the software does not allow you to e-file more than 5 tax returns under your email. The rules are in place to comply with IRS guidelines. See this link for additional information.

As for using the Deluxe version, it does not have the forms needed to complete a Schedule C with all income and expenses and Self-employment tax calculations.
