Why did you not enter the Social Security benefits that were reported to you on a SSA-1099.
Why did you not enter interest income reported to you on a Form 1099-INT.
To enter Social Security benefits reported on form SSA-1099
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home and Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
Scroll down to Retirement Plans and Social Security
On Social Security (SSA-1099, RRB-1099), click the start or update button
To report interest income received -
Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home & Business)
Click on Wages and Income (Personal Income using Home & Business)
Click on I'll choose what I work on

On Interest on 1099-INT, click on the start or update button
No one can call you from the user forum. If you left income out when you prepared your tax return you will need to amend the return when it has been fully processed by the IRS. TurboTax is not going to refund your fee for making a user error and leaving out some of your income. You can try having that conversation with them, but do not expect a refund.

Wait until your original return has been fully processed before you amend, and make sure you have saved a pdf of the original return before you amend. (If you do not save it as a pdf, the amended return will overwrite the original, and the original will be lost forever)

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take four months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.

When you amend:
Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
To enter interest:
Go to Federal>Wages & Income>Interest and Dividends>Interest on 1099INT
