Payment to turbo tax

I would like to know why I was charged 19.95 to send my taxes? I but my turbo tax CD from Costco and it clearly states The deluxe includes Federal returns, federal e -file, state returns.

The Deluxe desktop CD/Download edition includes one free state program download included in the purchase price.  Not a free e-file of the state tax return.

There is an e-file charge that is currently $19.99 for each state tax return e-filed (except New York state which is free to e-file).  This charge can be avoided by printing and mailing the state tax return.

Go to the TurboTax website for the desktop editions and click on the link 1 state download.  Scroll down and you will see the fees explained - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

Lets see 39.00 for turbo tax, then 20.00 to file state returns Next year I will be going in another direction
