PAYING PRIOR YEARS TAXES

I filed my 2024 taxes using the desktop version, and it’s indicating that I need to mail in the return. My question is regarding the payment: I attempted to pay via direct deposit through FIA. Can you confirm whether that payment actually processed

What is FIA?  Your only proof of payment is your bank or credit card statement showing it coming out.  Turbo Tax does not pay it.

no idea what FIA is and this public forum has no way to look up any tax payments you made. 

direct deposit is when you are due a refund. you owe. You can pay through the iRS website or mail in 1040-V with payment. you will likely get a bill for penalties and interest since any balance due for 2024 was due 4/15/2025
