Our return has been rejected by IRS 2x -- says my son's SSN doesn't match their records. Guessing because it's new - just arrived today. HELP!

In past years it has taken weeks to months to get transferred to the IRS computers.

Your choice is to wait a couple weeks and try again. But if it doesn't go thru by the first week in April, you would change to file by mail and take it to the Post office

Or change to file on paper now and submit thru the US mail (use a tracking method when you take it in to the Post Office...and you need separate submissions to Feds and state)
