"Other Income" Identification

Hello,

I'm using Turbo Tax desktop and looking at my "Picture of your 2024 Income Page". Everything looks as it should but there's a sizable number in the "Other income or loss" page. Is there a way to identify where this is from. A cursory search online notes it may be a "prize, award, lawsuit settlement etc." but none of those apply to me. Any guidance is appreciated. Thank you

Check your summary to see what it is. Follow the instructions below to view your summary.

Log in to your tax return at TurboTax.com. 

1. Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen (you may need to click on Continue in the center first). 
2. Click on Tools. 
3. In the box that pops up in the center, click on View Tax Summary. 

You can also preview your 1040.

If something is entered that needs to be deleted, here is how you do that:

If you are using:

• TurboTax Online: see How do I view and delete forms in TurboTax Online?
• TurboTax Desktop:
  1. On the top right, there is a FORMS button.
  2. Click on FORMS.
  3. Locate the form you want to delete.
  4. Click on the form name.
  5. Below the form, bottom left, select DELETE FORM button.
