Opening a prior year tax retur

I need to amend my 2023 tax return but the file doesn't show when I open TT 2023. I found the .2023tax file and it shows about 4k in size but when I try to open in in TT 2023, it doesn't have any data. Help!

Doesn't allow me to create a new asset entry wksht for Schedule E. The field for this in prior years is totally missing when i want to open a new asset entry form.Desktop Home and Business
