No.  In fact some of us recommend manually entering your forms like W2, 1099R, 1099Div, SS, etc.  You can click Skip Import or Enter a different way.

No, you don't have to upload your forms (W-2, 1099s, etc.), TurboTax gives you other options:

1. Select Enter a different way, then
2. Select Type it in myself

for each of your income documents.
