On the sign and transmit page I entered the wrong birthdate. Turbotax will not allow me to change it. how can I edit the birthdate on the signature?

As long as your return hasn't already been e-filed and accepted by the IRS, you can edit your information. In your Intuit Account go to "My Info" section, and then, click Edit next to your name to correct the date.

If the return was rejected, you can fix the birthdate and resubmit.

If the return was already accepted, you must wait for the IRS to process and then file an amended return to fix it.

This gotta be the most annoying thing ever. Every time I try to file with TurboTax for WHATEVER reason my birthdate is "wrong". Every time I would go to a tax person and they never have any issues.

Why is that?

I checked my previous 2023 and 2024, yup matches the birthdate I'm putting in "My Info". The problem isn't the SSA or IRS, it's TurboTax because every year it's the same BS. I waste an hour+ of my time doing this on turbo tax only to go to a tax person to do it for me and enter the EXACT same birthdate.
