On the form where do I find where to enter my 1098?

Why do you have a 1098?   Is it from a mortgage lender?   For a student loan?  For college tuition?   We need to know what kind of 1098 you have in order to tell you where to enter it.

If this is to enter your 1098 for your mortgage interest in TurboTax, please follow these steps:

• Open your tax return
• Select the Federal Taxes tab
• Click on the Search link on upper right of the screen (look for small magnifying lens)
• Type in Mortgage Interest
• Click on Jump to Mortgage Interest
• Under "Mortgage Interest and Refinance" you will follow screens to Let's get the details from your Bank 1098 now

Where do I enter my 1098 mortgage interest statement?

If you need to enter a Form 1098-T to enter your education expenses in TurboTax follow these steps:

1. Login to your account
2. Go to Tax Home and then Deductions & Credits
3. Scroll down to Education Credits, select Edit
