Here is how to update this: Enter the other information from your W-2. You will be asked if you have any uncommon situations, including overtime. Select that you have the uncommon situation of overtime, then a series of questions will be generated.
On the screen "Let's see if your overtime qualifies as tax-free," select "No help needed—I know what to enter." You'll then be asked if you are an exempt or not an exempt employee (exempt employees are not eligible for the overtime deduction). Now, you can enter the deductible overtime.

So those folks who received a W-2 with either "TT" or "TP" in box 12 of their W-2....
Has it been decided by TTX that:
They should just not attempt to enter the code & numbers in the software's box 12?
....Then just use the checkboxes on the follow-up page for Overtime or Tips $$ entries?

If this is going to be their workaround this year, then TTX needs to create a HELP page for everyone to reference.
