On final numbers it has total income, taxes withheld and federal deductions. I did not put any fed deductions. Where did this number come from?

Every tax payer is eligible for a federal standard deduction on their return (if their income is above a certain amount).  This deduction is automatically applied to every return that is eligible.  Plus, there are other deductions and credits that a taxpayer may qualify for depending upon their income and family and those are automatically calculated as well.
