On average, how long does Intuit hold a return that is scheduled to be funded by Direct Deposit but processed by Intuit to pay for the paperwork processing first?

According to the IRS, Intuit received my refund with the first batch of returns that arrived February 1st, so I am waiting for Intuit to process the fee for filing and send the rest on to me.  It's been two business days for that to happen--how long does it usually take for this?  I expected the funds to be sent to me by now, as the benefit of setting up DD in the first place is to avoid tedious processing times.

The "refund processing service" is handled by Santa Barbara Tax Products Group (SBTPG or TPG) on behalf of Intuit; it generally takes them 1-2 business days to deduct the fees and forward you the balance. For your refund's status there, go to https://taxpayer.sbtpg.com/ .
