On 1099-R, box 16 is blank, but it is preventing me from filing electronically. Is anyone else having this problem?

On 1099-R, the form we received has boxes 14 and 15 populated, but box 16 is blank. When I try to complete electronic filing, it keeps saying I have to fix this or file by mail. I do not want to file by mail. Is there a way around this, or is there a bug in the program?

Just enter the amount from box 1 into box 16.  It won’t affect your tax return.
