NYS REAL ID Drivers License is giving this error message "The document number's first 3 characters must be entered."

Number is being entered exactly as it is on the license

Check the pictures provided by NY to ensure you are using the right number. (It's not the DMV-ID number)

This is because you only need to enter the FIRST THREE CHARACTERS of the Document Number off of the ID. Instructions are not very clear on this
