There may not be an error on TurboTax's end. You should go back through the personal information section and make sure your social security number is correct and you indicated that you were filing your return with your spouse. Also, when you enter your W-2 form make sure you indicate that it is for you and not your spouse. If that doesn't work, delete your W-2 entry and re-enter it. If you still have trouble try clearing the cache on your computer and re-boot it.
And when you edit yourself in the My Info area.....look closely near your SS# entry. There is a checkbox there for indicating that your SS# is NOT valid for employment....you (normally) don't check that box (unless that is true?)
