I am retired & now teach part-time. I received a 1099-MISC for the teaching work. Should I classify as my main job?

Following retirement, I started teaching with a trade association; compensation was summarized on a 1099-MISC.

This was not my job role when I was employed.  I am not certain how to answer the question in TurboTax if this is my main job.  My retirement income sources come from company pension / 401K and not active employment.

No.  Your main "job" is retirement.  Teaching is just a side line.
