No W2 need help filing. my original was sent to my old address. I requested a duplicate to new address, I was told it will take 4 weeks passing deadline what should I do?

should I request an extension? are there other alternative ways I can still file without using my W2?

You will need to file an extension (instructions here).  But with the extension, you'll want to try to figure out what you should be paying so you don't pay penalties.  If you can find a paycheck stub towards the end of 2018, you can enter YTD numbers to get close to the W2 data.
