I'm stalled at the very beginning of completing my return. On the "Hi! We're here to help you file with ease" page when I hit continue I get a popup that tells me I'm leaving the site. Then it does. I spent hours with Inuit and they finally told me it's a known issue and they'd have it fixed in a day or two. That was a week ago. There is no "tax home" in the left column Just the name of the product. There is no tool menu so I can't just start over. I may have to stop using TT after 15+ years.

Sounds like something got stuck. You can try these things:
Most TurboTax errors happen because the browser is trying to use an old "session" from a previous visit. By clearing the cache or using Incognito mode, you force the browser to establish a brand-new, secure connection with the Intuit servers.
I tried everything you suggested. I'm still getting the same popup (stay or leave)on the same page when I hit continue.
Are you on the Desktop version of TurboTax.
Desktop doesn't have any of the things you're looking for.
If you're in the Online version.
