No Income, do i need to file taxes

I have no income. Do I still need to file a tax return, essentially stating that I have no income?

@jjbrown85 - no you don't need to file.

HOWEVER, if you did not receive the 3rd stimulus or have children that make you eligible for the Child Tax Credit (both of these are 2021 items only), then filing will get you this money. 

if you are a dependent of someone else, then  no need to file; you are not eligible for the two benefits noted above,

If you received advance Premium Tax Credit for health insurance from the Marketplace ("Obamacare"), or you received advance Child Tax Credit payments, then you are required to file a tax return even if you have no income.
