No change in refund

As soon as I put in my pension amount, Turbo tax told me my refund amount, but after all the changes with other income and deductions, it did not change at all. Even in the tax summary. That had never happened in all the years of using it. That seems totally wrong.

No change in refund

You can try logging out of the program and logging back in. You can also clear your cache and cookies.

You may also try using another browser.

 

Make sure to run all updates to your TurboTax Program. Click here for information on manually updating TurboTax.

 

I have seen the refund meter remain stagnant and than all of a sudden change while entering information.

 

You can also previewing your tax return to make sure everything is accurate and entered properly. It is a more accurate reflection of your return.

 

You can do this by following the instructions below.

 

You can get to your tax return in TurboTax desktop as follows:

  1. Switch to Forms Mode, and then  (see screenshots below for additional guidance)
  2. Scroll through your forms in the left panel and 
  3. Click on the form you want to preview (Example Form 1040)

 

You can get to your Tax Return in TurboTax Online as follows: 

  1. Go to "Tax Tools" in your left panel,
  2. Select "Tools" and then 
  3. Select "View Tax Summary" and 
  4. Select "Preview Form 1040"
