I have followed all the other suggestions on trying to find how to enter my small 1099-patr dividend and can't find an answer that is applicable to the Premier edition. There is no "jump to", there is no "Business" tab that covers Farm Income (which my coop dividend isn't. Does anyone have an answer as to where and how to enter my tiny little Cooperative dividend? I am using the downloaded desktop edition. HELP!!

Using the TurboTax Premier desktop edition for tax year 2024 -
Click on Federal Taxes
Click on Wages and Income
Click on I'll choose what I work on
Under Business Items
On Farm Income and Farm Rental, click the start button
I've done that, but I don't see an option for Cooperative Dividend payments. This is not from operating or owning a farm. I am a member of a Cooperative that I buy my propane for home heating purposes, and have received a 1099-PATR for the annual dividend. Of the 5 options listed, which one do I use? I tried the very first one, and that took me on a path of naming my farm, etc? This shouldn't be this tough for a $220 dividend.
You can use the Search function by typing in 1099-patr and Enter. That will give you the Jump to 1099-patr.
If you are unable to use the Search Function because of the AI search interference, you can turn off the AI in Search.
Click on the File tab on the upper left of the desktop program screen.
Click on Sign in as (your User ID)
Click on Sign off and then click on Sign off again
Click on Search
When the window opens to have you enter your User ID, click on the X in the upper right of the window. This will now allow you to Search for the 1099-patr
Okay...that got me to the "Jump To", but my question now is, which of the 6 selections is appropriate for reporting a Cooperative Dividend? I can't believe how counter-intuitive this has become. Thank you for your Guidance DonanGA.
