If you did not receive unemployment compensation in 2022, then you have nothing to enter about that. If you received Social Security benefits, you will be getting a SSA1099 from Social Security. They mail them in January so watch your mailbox. If you receive SSI---which is not the same as Social Security----you will not receive anything about SSI to enter on a tax return.
Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS AND SSI?

If you DID receive unemployment compensation in 2022 you have to enter a 1099G. They do not always mail them....sometimes you have to get it from the state website.
UNEMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION
Unemployment compensation is taxable on your federal return.
You will have to enter a 1099G that is issued by your state.
Some states will mail out the 1099G. Or you might need to go to your state’s unemployment website and use the password, etc. that you have been using to certify for weekly benefits to get your 1099G from the state’s site.
Enter your 1099G in Federal>Wages & Income>Unemployment
Go through the screens very carefully, making sure to enter any federal/state tax you had withheld from the unemployment.
