Infant born in may of 2016 do I check insurance for all year or just may thru dec?

You should select all year. A child born during the year counts as being in your home all year. Also be sure you have checked that the child lived with you all year under their profile. You can do this by going to the Personal Info section and selecting edit next to their name under the dependents section.
