Turbotax doesn't pay any taxes ... it only sends the info you entered to the taxing authority and they are the ones who complete the debit. If the info was incorrect and the payment did not happen then the taxing authority will send you a bill for the balance due.
Check to see if you put in the wrong DD info ... if you did mess up the IRS or State will be sending you a bill shortly ... follow the notice instructions to pay the debt.

As indicated below, TT does not send the info to your credit union, Rather, it sends it to the IRS and the state tax bureau.
